Over time, weathering and decay cause voids in the joints between masonry units, usually in bricks, allowing the undesirable entrance of water. Water entering through these voids can cause significant damage through frost weathering and from salt dissolution and deposition.

- Remove – Remove the ineffective mortar
- The Sweep down – Clean out the debris so the new mortar can be injected
- Pointing – injection of new mortar back into the beds
- The strike the mortar – shaping your mortar (See below)
- Brush off – – will remove any un-wanted mortar
- Property Wash – will rejuvenate the property
- Full property cleans up – All rubbish will be removed so you can enjoy your home again.
